Extension data synchronization

Settings Synchronization

If you are logged into your browser account, your settings will automatically sync to the browser's cloud. You can also manually export and import settings.

Browser synchronization cannot cross browsers. For example, if you log in to a Chrome account, your settings will sync to Chrome's cloud, but will not sync to Edge's cloud. If you want to export settings to another browser, please use the local data import and export feature.

Other Data Synchronization

Due to limited browser sync capacity, only settings themselves use browser synchronization. Other data such as word lists need to be manually synchronized.

  • Two-way Synchronization Currently supports WebDAV servers, such as Nutstore or DropDAV, supporting two-way synchronization. You need to first set up synchronization to sync data from the server to the extension, and then new words added in the extension will automatically sync to the server.

  • One-way Synchronization Eudic Word, Shanbay Word, supports syncing new word lists from Saladict to these platforms

Word Lookup History

Currently does not support synchronization, only saved locally
